What We BelieveIn one sentence, We believe The BIBLE, The WORD of GOD. We believe Every Word of it. We believe All 66 books of the Bible: 39 books in the Old Testament (OT) and 27 books in the New Testament (NT). We believe All 1,189 chapters of the Bible: 929 chapters in the OT and 260 chapters in the NT. We believe The BIBLE from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Here are some specific things we believe about the Bible: Revelation: The content of the Bible is REVEALED by God, not Concealed. Any ordinary person who desires to know and obey God can understand the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit, who aided the writers of the Bible. Deuteronomy 29:29; John 16:12-14; 1 Corinthians 2:9-14 Inspiration: We believe the Bible is INSPIRED by God as its Real Author. This makes the Bible ERROR-FREE. The ultimate proof of Divine Inspiration is the ACCURACY OF BIBLE PROPHECY. Bible predictions have come true and will come true Hundred Percent of the Time. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19; Matthew 5:18; 24:35 Completion: The Bible is COMPLETE and FINAL . It leaves no room for new revelation, though we may receive a fresh enlightenment about what has already been revealed by God in His Word. The Bible alone is the SUFFICIENT AUTHORITY for all we need to Believe, Know and Live the Godly Life. Psalm 119:89; 2 Peter 1:3; Revelation 22:18-19 Interpretation & Application: We believe the Bible INTERPRETS itself and does not really need man's interpretation. The best way to interpret the Bible is by Cross-Referencing, whereby we compare Scripture with Scripture. Rather than man's interpretation, the Bible simply requires man's Application of its truths. We can only realize the full benefits of God's Word when we apply it, not when we interpret it. Primarily God did not give us His word to interpret it; God gave us His word to apply it or to live it out. 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:20-21; James 1:22-25; Revelation 1:3 The Ministry of the Word: The primary role of the pastor or minister is to prayerfully TEACH, PREACH and PROMOTE the Word of God, so that believers develop the Habit of READING the Bible Daily and ATTENDING Bible Study Regularly. Everything that God requires a person to Know, Be and Do will flow from Reading and Studying the Word of God with an Open Mind and a Willing Heart. The great purpose of Bible Reading and Bible Study is to Lead a Person to faith in Jesus Christ and to Equip the Believer to Serve and to Grow in the Likeness of Christ. Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 2:2; John 6:63,66-69; 8:30-32; Acts 6:4; 17:11; 20:20; Romans 8:28-29; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 3:10,16; 2 Timothy 2:2; 3:14-17; 4:1-4 We believe that the Word of God is our ONLY TEXTBOOK for Bible Study, Teaching and Preaching. We engage in Direct Bible Teaching, encouraging worshipers to search the Bible during worship as the pastor teaches verse-by-verse straight from the Bible. Besides adhering to basic Evangelical Doctrine, here are other things we believe:
