The 21-Day Prayer Guide

pray21Pray for one major area per day for twenty-one days. Make adjustments as the Spirit leads you. On each day, include any current or urgent prayer requests. 

A. Pray for Yourself. Jesus prayed for Himself.

· Day 1. Your Christian Life & Spiritual Growth; your Ministry & Calling John 17:1-5

· Day 2. Your Needs & Desires – Psalm 37:4,5; Philip. 4:6-7

· Day 3. Your Family: nucleus family; family of origin – Josh. 24:15; Mat. 7:24-25

· Day 4. Your Relatives & In-Laws – Ruth 1:16-17

· Day 5. Your Church family –  Eph. 1:15-23 

 B. Pray for Other People – 1 Tim. 2:1

· Day 6. The Families in your area; marriages; husbands; wives; parents; children; single parents

· Day 7. Your Friends and their families

· Day 8. The Churches in your area; their pastors, elders, deacons, workers, vision

· Day 9. The Body of Christ: Christians around the world – Eph. 6:18

C. Pray for the Governing Authorities. Pray for specific areas and people of your city, county, state and country: leaders and workers in the school system, businesses, entertainment, sports, law enforcement, criminal justice, civil service; sanitation workers, utility providers, communication system providers, etc. Pray particularly for the salvation of people of influence, that Godly people be in positions of leadership.

· Day 10. Your City, Community, & Neighborhood – Jer. 29:7

· Day 11. Your County and/or State – Rom. 13:1-7

· Day 12. Your Country – 1 Tim. 2:1-4

D. Pray for the Nations of the World. Read Isaiah 56:7 (Mark 11:17). Mention specific nations as you are informed about their needs, as the Holy Spirit impresses them upon your heart.

· Day 13.  The Nation of Israel – Psalm 122:6-9 

· Day 14.  The Nations of Africa – Psalm 68:31

· Day 15.  The Nations of Asia & Australia – Isaiah 56:6-7

· Day 16.  The Nations of Europe – Mat. 24:4-14

· Day 17.  The Nations of North America – Mat. 28:18-20

· Day 18.  The Nations of South America – Rev. 7:9-10; 15:3-4

E. Pray for Laborers for the Kingdom of God – Luke 10:1-2

· Day 19.  Missionaries & Evangelists – John 4:35-38; Eph. 6:18-20

· Day 20.  Elders, Deacons, and other church Workers – Eph. 4:11-16

F. Pray that God's Will and Works Prevail Over Satan's. Read one or more of these Scriptures each time before you pray or while you pray. Mark 3:27; Luke 10:18-19; John 8:44; 2 Cor. 4:3-4; 10:3-5; Eph. 6:10-18; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-10; Rev. 12:9-11 

Day 21.  Satan’s works include distraction, deception, destruction, disease, lies, bondage, murder, stealing, persecution of Christians, manipulation of government & politicians, etc.
